Most UK genealogists charge by the hour, which makes the final bill impossible to predict. I don’t. Research packages start at £245 for one family line, fully fixed and quoted before you commit. Prefer to start smaller? A one-hour £75 consultation gives you a professional’s plan to follow yourself — and the fee is credited if you commission a package within 90 days.

I have archive access, decades of records experience and the palaeography to read documents most people can’t — and you end up with a finished, citable family story rather than a half-built tree.
